Who we are

Family Frames is a family portrait photography business run by Cam Harle, based at 34 Belsize Park, London NW3 4DX. For any question about this policy or your information, email info@familyframes.co.uk or call 07921 122824.

What we collect

  • Enquiry details. The name, email address, phone number (if you give one) and message you send through the contact form, by email or by phone.
  • Session details. Information needed to plan and deliver your session, such as the address of a home shoot and the names and ages of those being photographed.
  • Photographs. The images created during your session.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, plan and carry out your session, deliver your gallery and finished images, and handle payment and any products you order. Our lawful basis is either taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing that contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Your photographs

Your images are yours. We will never use photographs of your family for marketing, on this website, or on social media without asking you first and obtaining your separate, written consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us, and we will remove the images from anywhere we control.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services needed to run the business, such as our email provider, online gallery platform, and printing and framing suppliers when you order products. Each acts on our instructions and under their own data protection obligations.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to 12 months. Booking and payment records are kept for six years, as UK tax rules require. Session images are retained so you can reorder prints in future; ask us at any time and we will delete them.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Pages that embed a Google map may set cookies controlled by Google; you can avoid these by not interacting with the map.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Contact us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
