This year's family photographs, in time for Christmas
Christmas has a way of showing how much a family changes in a year: a baby who's now sitting up, a toddler suddenly full of words, children who seem to have grown overnight. A family photoshoot in the run-up to it captures this year as it really is, with everyone in the frame.
There are no separate Christmas mini sessions here. A Christmas booking is a full Family Frames session of up to two hours, in the studio, at home or outdoors. As long as your shoot takes place on or before Friday 18 December 2026, your finished digital edits are guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas Day.
Sessions are £500, including 10 fully retouched images. The price is the same whether you choose the studio, your home or an outdoor location, so you can pick purely on what feels right for your family.

Shoots until 18 December
Studio, home and outdoor sessions can take place up to and including Friday 18 December 2026, subject to availability. If you have particular dates in mind, it's worth enquiring early.
Finished edits by Christmas Day
For every shoot on or before 18 December, all of your finished digital edits are guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas Day, ready to share with the people you love.
Prints: order early
Prints and framed artwork are ordered by you through your online gallery once your images are delivered. Timing then depends on when you order and on the print lab's delivery times, so print delivery before Christmas can't be guaranteed.
An autumn photoshoot, ready for Christmas
Autumn is a lovely season to be photographed: turning leaves, soft low light, and the whole run-up to Christmas still ahead of you.
Booking earlier also takes the pressure off. You'll have more time to choose your favourite images, more time to order prints and framed artwork through your gallery, and more room in the diary if an outdoor session has to move because of the weather (it's always rearranged at no extra cost).

For an outdoor session, popular choices include Hampstead Heath for open skies and woodland, Primrose Hill for views across the city and Regent's Park for its gardens and tree-lined avenues, though a favourite local park works just as beautifully. In the run-up to Christmas the light goes early, with sunset in London before 4pm, so outdoor sessions are timed around the daylight and agreed with you in the pre-session consultation.
Studio, home or outdoors: which suits the season?
All three work at Christmas, and the price is the same whichever you choose. Pets are welcome at home and outdoor sessions.
In the studio
The Belsize Park studio is fully lit and controlled, so the light is consistent whatever the weather or time of year: a calm, dependable choice for December. Studio sessions suit children from around age two and work best for families of up to five.
About studio shootsAt home
Christmas at home, as your family really lives it. Cam brings professional lighting, so your home works whatever the weather, and home sessions are ideal for newborns and very young children.
About home sessionsOutdoors
Autumn colour, low winter light and room to run. Outdoor sessions go ahead unless the weather is genuinely awful, and if a date has to move, it's rearranged at no extra cost.

Christmas sessions are standard Family Frames sessions, at the standard price.
